How to Make Baked Indian-style Fish at Home?
Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets of your choice fish used here is salmon
- 2 Small Onion crushed
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp Black pepper powder
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice or vinegar
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Curry leaves crushed
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash the fish fillets and pat dry them using a kitchen tissue.
- Grind all the ingredients except oil and fish to make a smooth paste. You can add oil or water to adjust the consistency of the paste.
- Apply the masala on the fillets and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Preheat the oven at 400°F.
- Spray the baking dish lightly with oil or butter. Place the fish fillets and bake for about 15 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot with a side salad.
