BBQ Chicken & Rice Recipe
First, you need to have barbecue sauce, you can order one, but we’ve provided a recipe here in case you want to make it at home.

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
  1. Keep a saucepan over moderate heat and add some oil.
  2. Add the sliced onions. Sauté until it turns soft, and then add salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, pepper, hot sauce, ketchup, and water.
  3. Combine and bring to a boil. Reduce the flame, cook covered for 10 minutes and it’s done.
Step 2: Rice
  1. Wash the rice until the water runs clear.
  2. For every 1 cup of rice, put 2 cups of water in a pot.
  3. Bring the rice to a boil and then lower the heat. Cover and cook for an additional ten minutes.
Step 3: Preparing the Barbecue Chicken:
  1. Add a little oil, pepper and salt to the chicken along with some of the prepared BBQ sauce, give it a good mix.
  2. Cook the chicken in a grill pan or directly on a bbq grill.
  3. Cook each side for roughly 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add more sauce as needed.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, take it out on a platter and wrap aluminium foil around it for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Serve it with the hot rice you made earlier and enjoy.
