How to Make Homemade Chicken Croquettes?
Ingredients
- 1 pack Licious Chicken Mince 450 g
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 tbsp Refined or All Purpose Flour Maida
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 Licious Classic Egg
- 1 onion chopped finely
- 1 Green Chilli chopped finely
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Oil – For Frying
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
- Thaw the chicken mince and set it apart in a bowl.
- Heat a frying pan.
- Add butter and wait for it to melt.
- Add the onions, green chilli, coriander, and ginger-garlic paste to the pan.
- Sauté for a minute before adding the all-purpose flour.
- Stir vigorously and pour the milk slowly, stirring all the time. Keep stirring until the flour dissolves and there are no lumps in the mixture.
- Season with salt and add Licious chicken mince. Mix it well with the ingredients in the pan, and cook on a low flame for a few minutes.
- Remove it to a bowl to let it cool. You may put the mixture in the fridge and chill it for half an hour.
- Once the chicken mince mixture is cool and easy to handle, make small balls of it.
- Have the remaining flour and the whipped egg ready in separate bowls. Have a bowl of breadcrumbs nearby too.
- Dip each croquette into the flour and egg successively. Next, coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a separate pan and fry the croquette until it turns golden brown.
- Remove it from the pan once done, and drain it by placing it on a paper towel.
- Serve hot with mayonnaise, ketchup or a dipping sauce.
