  1. Whisk all the marinade ingredients except chicken breasts. Add the chicken to the marinade and coat well. Rest the marinated chicken for about an hour.
  2. Add oil to a pan placed over a medium flame. Once hot, place the chicken steaks on the skillet and cook on both sides for about 3 minutes on each side. While the chicken is cooking, baste the remaining marinade on the chicken. Once cooked, take out the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the rest of the marinade. Mix the all-purpose flour with water to make slurry and add it into the marinade sauce. Boil until the sauce thickens and set it aside.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken steaks for garnishing. Serve with pan-roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes.
