Ingredients
- 1½ inch ginger
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 2 green chillies
- Coriander leaves
- Mint leaves
- 1 onion medium-sized
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp rice flour
- salt to taste
Instructions
- In a blender add the masala ingredients such as, ginger, garlic cloves, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and onion. Blend them in a thick paste.
- Transfer the masala paste to a large plate. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, rice flour and salt to the plate. Mix well and coat the fish with this masala.
- Add oil to a large skillet pan and place it on a medium high heat. Once the oil is hot enough, add the coated fish to the pan. Fry it for 5 minutes on each side.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot as a starter with salad or chutney, or with roti.
