Elizabeth's Mom's Kerala Nadan Kozhi Fry
Ingredients
- Coconut Oil
- 1/2 kg Country Chicken
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garamendi masala
- Chilly powder
- pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Cinnamon 2 small pieces
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 2 Green chillies sliced in 2
- 1 piece Ginger finely sliced lengthwise
- 6 Garlic pods finely sliced lengthwise
- Coconut pieces
- Curry leaves
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with all the masala and half a lime juice for 2 hours before cooking. This makes the chicken tasty and soft.
- Take a pan, add coconut oil, add cinnamon 2 small pieces. Then add all the sliced items.
- Fry it until it turns a light brown colour. Then add cooked chicken pieces.
- Add some pepper powder and fry it in low flame until the gravy dries up.
- Add curry leaves to garnish and ready to eat
