How to make fried chicken?
Ingredients
- 250 gms chicken
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt as required
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoon Paprika
- Black pepper as required
Instructions
- Mix all-purpose flour, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Add in your chicken and make sure every piece is evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl add the buttermilk and dip every piece in it. Once coated, dip the chicken back into the dry ingredients evenly coating every side.
- Place the coated chicken on a tray and cover it with a clean dishtowel.
- Let the flour reach a paste-like consistency.
- Till then, keep the pan on a high flame and add vegetable oil to it.
- Once hot, cook the chicken on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
- Once the chicken turns brown, slow down the flame and cover the lid.
- Cook the chicken on a moderate flame till it becomes crispy.
- Once fried, use paper towels to soak up the excess oil from the chicken and serve with ketchup or mint chutney.
