How to Cook Trevally?
Ingredients
- 3-4 tsp Coconut Oil
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 inch piece of ginger - chopped
- 6 cloves garlic- chopped
- leaves Curry to taste
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 3-4 pieces Malabar tamarind
- ¼ tbsp fenugreek powder
Instructions
- In a pan, heat coconut oil. Now add mustard seeds.
- When the mustard seeds begin to sputter, add curry leaves, chilli powder, ginger, garlic, Malabar tamarind, and fenugreek powder and sautéd for a minute.
- Add water and mix well. Now add fish to the pan.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on low heat until the fish is done and flaky. Add the curry leaves in and give everything a gentle stir at the end.
- Serve with chapati or rice.
