Make Tasty Meen Varuval at Home in 2 Simple Steps
Ingredients
- 6-8 Fish Steaks thick, of your choice
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1¼ tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 sprig Curry leaves finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp thick curd
- ½ tsp Lemon Juice
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients except the fish steaks. Coat the fish steaks well with this smooth paste. Refrigerate for an hour.
- In a wide shallow pan, heat oil on medium flame and place the marinated fish on it. Roast the fish on both sides until golden and slightly crisp.
- Garnish with fried curry leaves and serve hot with mint chutney.
