- ¼ tbsp turmeric powder
- 1½ tbsp red chilli powder

- 2 tbsp Coconut Powder
- ½ tbsp garam masala
- ½ tbsp coriander powder roasted
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions
- Mix the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, roasted coriander powder and coconut powder into a thick paste. Marinade the curry cuts with this mix and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Scrape the drumsticks to deseed them and cut them into 2-inch long pieces. Wash them thoroughly and let them soak in water for about 10 to 15 minutes. Pat them dry after they have been soaked.
- Add some oil to a heated pan and saute the drumsticks for about 5 minutes. Set them aside after this is done.
- Let's move on to making the Munakkaya mutton curry in a pressure cooker. Add some oil to a pressure cooker and saute the onions until they are golden brown.
- Add in some ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, and fry this till the mixture is aromatic.
- Add the marinated mutton pieces to this mix and cook them on a low flame for 5-6 minutes, stirring them at regular intervals.
- Add about 3 cups of water (about 400ml) once the mutton is cooked and cover the pressure cooker with its lid.
- Cook this mutton curry on medium heat for a time period of 7 to 8 whistles and then turn off the heat.
- Once the pressure is settled, remove the lid and stir the curry, adding the drumstick pieces and half a cup of water to it. Mix it well.
- Turn the stove back on and cook the mutton curry until the drumstick pieces are soft. Add in the chopped coriander leaves and garam masala and mix it thoroughly.
- Turn off the flame after about 15 minutes or once the curry achieves a gravy-like consistency.
