Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pressure cooker. Spread out the pieces of meat on the surface of the pan and let them sear on both sides, flipping occasionally.
Once seared, add a cup of water to the marinade and bring it to boil. Put the lid on and allow it to 7-8 whistles. Once the pressure has subsided, open the pressure cooker. The meat should be fork-tender.
Serving Suggestions:
Let the Mutton Chukka rest for a few minutes once cooked.
Garnish with fried cashews and ginger juliennes. Serve with Kerala Parotta.
