Ingredients
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 500 grams parai fish
- 1/2 cup Freshly grated coconut
- 2 chopped onions
- 1/4 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp tumeric
- 3 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 3 Chopped Tomatoes
- tamarind
- salt
Instructions
- Heat some oil in a pan, add the onions and cook until they are golden brown. Toss in the grated coconut and stir well. After that, add a little water to make a paste.
- Add all the spices and chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes adding more water if the mixture starts to stick. In a separate bowl, combine the tamarind and Mosa Parai fish before adding them to the curry.
- Cook for 20-30 minutes on a low to medium flame, covered, before serving with rice. Garnish with curry leaves.
