- 500 gms boneless chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- ½ tbsp chilli powder
- 4 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 Red Bell Pepper diced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper diced
- 1 red onion diced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce store-bought

- Soak bamboo sticks in water for about 10 minutes and preheat the grill to 204° C. Apply olive oil on the grill grates to prevent the skewers from sticking.
- In a bowl, add chicken, salt, paprika, red chilli powder, smoked paprika and sugar. Mix well until everything is combined and the chicken is coated throughout. Pierce the chicken, diced peppers and onion onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers on the grate and grill for about 5 minutes and brush barbecue sauce on all sides of each skewer. Cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with your favourite dip.
Recipe Tips
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 10 minutes to avoid burning them on the grill. You can also use metal skewers.
