- Licious Chicken Drumsticks
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 4 cloves of Garlic chopped
- 1 inch ginger chopped
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 tbsp Garam masala powder
- 1 sprig of curry leaves
- tsp ½turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp red chilli powder
- Salt as required

- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 star anise
- ¼ cup coconut
- 4 cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp Whole Black Peppercorns

For the salna paste:

- Take a wok and heat the oil in it. Add the fennel seeds, peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves. Fry them well.
- Now, add coconut and let it turn slightly brown. Do this for 5-8 minutes.
- Once done, set it aside.
- Transfer these to a mixture grinder once cooled and grind them to a smooth paste. Add a little water if required.
- Now take the same wok and add oil.
- Add the chicken pieces with turmeric and salt. Saute it well.
- When they turn golden brown, drain the oil from the chicken and take them out.
- Now, add curry leaves to the wok and let it crackle.
- Add the ginger and garlic. Let it saute.
- Add the onions and cook them well until they are golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and cook till they turn soft.
- Now, you can add the ground paste to the mixture.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Stir well to mix it.
- Add the chicken pieces to the gravy and ½ cup of water
- Add salt to taste and let it simmer on low flame for 20-25 minutes.
- Take it off the heat and serve it hot!
