- 500 gm boneless chicken breasts thinly sliced
- 2 tsp Dark Soya Sauce
- 1 tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 egg
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cornflour/ corn starch
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 Dry red chilli
- 4 tbsp cashews broken into small pieces
- 1 Large onion sliced thinly
- 1 Green Bell Pepper sliced thinly
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
- ¼ cup Tomato ketchup
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp Sugar

- Take the chicken breast slices in a bowl. Add the red chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder, salt and soy sauce. Break one egg and add the all-purpose flour and cornflour. Mix the slices well and let them marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil for deep-frying. Add the slices and fry until golden brown.
- To make the sauce, take a pan and heat oil in it. Then add the dry red chillies and cashews. Sauté until the cashew nuts turn light brown.
- Add onion and bell pepper in the pan and toss them with the cashew nuts and red chilli. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute or so.
- Now, add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix well. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
Recipe Tip
To add more aroma to the dish, you can roast the peppercorns and grind them into a powder. Use this powder in the recipe.
