- 5 Fish Steaks
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Black pepper powder freshly ground to taste
- ½ Lemon juiced
- salt to taste
- Coconut Oil
- Curry leaves a few sprigs

- Take the fish steaks and wash them. Clean the steaks and drain off the excess water. Keep them aside.
- Take a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, lemon and salt. Mix the ingredients. Add a little water if required. Now add the steaks and coat them with this mixture. Set aside for 30-40 minutes.
- Take a frying pan and heat some oil in it. Once the oil is hot, add some curry leaves and let them splutter. Then add the fish steaks on medium-low flame. Fry them on both sides until they turn crispy and golden brown. Serve hot.
Recipe Tip
You can also fry some garlic cloves in the pan before adding the fish. This gives the fish an extra kick of flavour.
